(More customer reviews)The Rada peeler's handle turned out to be a bit longer and thicker than I expected. I'm happy with it though - it has a really nice weight to it (without being heavy). I love the brushed aluminum handle. Very nice matte finish.
When I peeled the first carrot with it - wow. Super sharp. It glides over the surface of the vegetable, lifting the peel (no snagging like some inexpensive peelers) and feeling awesomely effortless. You don't have to press - you barely move your hand along and the thing glides!
Safety tip, from me and my thumb: you'll want to make sure to put your peeler in the dish rack pointy side down. I reached for a fork, didn't see the peeler, and it got me good.
