(More customer reviews)The main reason I chose it is because it's so cute. Can't resist it. The whole thing is made of plastic. The potato head is attached to the handle with a metal screw. So I have a feeling sooner or later, the screwed part will come off. But hopefully with my gentle handling it will last longer. I use it to mash the rice while cooking fried rice. Much faster with this thing than using the turner. It works very well with cold rice right out from the fridge. But the rice at room temperature is too sticky since I use the medium grain Korean rice and they end up blocking all the slots.
For mash potatoes, this is more for the rough texture mash.
