(More customer reviews)I was looking for a potato masher that I could use directly in my cooking pot, if needed. I discovered also that it crushed a can of whole tomatoes very nicely. I haven't had it for very long but am very pleased so far and expect that the plastic and the spring will hold up over the long run.
