(More customer reviews)I have loved potato salad ever since I was so young that I would scrawl on my Christmas list to Santa, "POTATOE SALAD." Well my spelling has improved since then, but Santa keeps on delivering, for thanks to Amazon I nmow have a steady supply of Kings delivered to my door. It is the perfect side dish for any kind of meal, especially when I am barbecuing in the backyard in a long white apron and a beer in either hand. The best thing is, when you order Kings Potato Salad, you get a melange of flavors, the heartiness of potatoes and the piquancy of old fashioned vinegar and apples, the bite of raw onion and the blandness of a long stalk of celery, chopped up into tiny nearly invisible morsels, no more of that deep throat celery you might find at the other end of my picnic table.
Nor does Kings skimp on the pickles either. Nowadays, with a national trend demanding more and better pickling, health fanatics will turn to this brand of potato salad the way they might line up for free kimchi, I've had a table of vegetarians come by over the backyard fence, scorning my barbecue, but curious about the distinctive yellow tint of my Kings Potato Salad. I just lob em some free samples and they're all over me offering up intimate favors for just a taste of my Kings. You know who you are, you're the people who are licking your lips and trying to hide the distinctive yellow tang of Kings from your wives and children and mom and dad. The handy one pint tub you can use and re-use, but its chief purpose is to act as a container for pleasure. The Southern way.
