(More customer reviews)I bought this a few weeks ago and used it about 8 times. The first time I used it, it cut through the potato like butter. From the second time on, it seemed to get dull very quickly. By the 8th time, one of the blades had popped out. I sent it back for a refund and purchased the Borner V-Slicer (Swissmar Borner V-Slicer Plus). This works GREAT and does a variety of shapes and sizes. Have been using it like crazy and no sign of dulling...it still cuts through a hard potato like butter and clean up is very easy, just rinse and store in the caddy to drip dry. One of the reviews on it is from a woman who has had one for ten years and the blades still aren't dull. Comes with a comfortable tool for gripping the veggies so your fingers don't go near the blades. Only takes up a few inches of space on the counter top, and that's where it's going to stay because I can see myself using it every day.
