(More customer reviews)I scrub vegetables so I do not have to peel them and these gloves are ok, but not sufficiently rough to clean the skin well. In fact I am not sure that they clean the vegetables much better than I can with my hands. Someone suggested using them for clams, but again they are too soft for that. I use a cleaning brush with strong bristles and that seems more effective and easier to use than gloves.
